Butchering is a long standing tradition in the Doyle family, with several generations working in the profession, right up to the present day.
Myles established his own business in the village of Dunlavin in 2002 and it has grown steadily ever since.
We are one of the few butchers in Ireland to produce pork, beef and lamb from our own Farm to our licenced onsite Abbatoir and then to our Shop. As a result, we have full control over the welfare, traceability and quality of the meat we sell to you. The farm is located only 3km from the Abbatoir and Shop in Dunlavin, so the “food miles” and carbon footprint of the business is kept as low as possible.
Our shop is a place where there is always time to stop for a chat and we are delighted to give advice on all cuts of meat and the best ways to prepare them.
We are fully compliant with all EU directives with regard to slaughtering and traceability.
